Aussie victory was decisive, and there's no denying it. Australia won fair and square. They beat India comprehensively, and we should give credit where it's due. We can acknowledge their brilliance while also pointing out the double standards in the use of technology—but let's be clear, it had absolutely no bearing on the final result. Why is that so difficult to accept?

What do you want us to say ?

Your side is much better than ours and it will continue to remain so till it is a 9 vs 11 game .
India became good when they set aside the culturally ingrained victim complex which had been at the centre of their cricket since they started playing internationals. Was at it’s worst after Sydney 08 when they blamed Bucknor, complained they were robbed and ignored the fact they lost seven wickets after tea, including 3 to Michael Clarke of all people in the last over. An utterly hapless display of ineptitude for which they refused to take responsibility.

Once head sooks Tendulkar and Kumble retired and Dhoni/ Kohli took over they lost the victim complex and became consistently better, because they took responsibility for their own performances, developed good fast bowlers and started eating red meat.

Now they’re under the pump after the NZ series and following this result, the victim complex is back with a vengeance. Carrying on and complaining about a correct decision while ignoring the inconvenient truth they lost 7/30 odd on day five. The crap their officials and some of their supporters are going on with is rank embarrassing.

Only Christianity externalises blame to the same extent as the Indian cricket team.

Happy New Year everyone.

I do wonder how some of the more sensible Indian supporters (I'm sure they exist) are dealing with these responses.

I'm also wondering how some of these people, like Sidhu, still manage to have a platform with people actually following their opinions. It's concerning tstl

It would be the equivalent of Australians giving a commentary platform to Milton Orkopoulos. It’s bizarre Sidhu hasn’t been consigned to the oblivion he so richly deserves.

I will complain about Sydney ‘08 till the day I die. At the time I thought the cheating had peaked but not too long after we had an entirely new set of players continue the rich tradition. It’s scary that those are the only instances they were caught - imagine how often they’ve been getting away with it.

Tbf they’ve won three of four tosses so far and have gone like a busted since Perth
I haven't seen the pitch but Sydney should have a more deserved rep for cracking and playing two heights late in the game. More so than it being spin friendly. Would hate to be the team batting last on it.

It’s generally held together pretty well lately, but then again there’s been so much rain the past few years it’s hard to get a handle on how it might play this year

Need to adopt a stronger attitude. Like the current Australian team. Fighting against a corrupt ICC (BCCI), umpires against them etc and they still managed to win the WTC and a rigged World Cup in India.

If they had an India 08 attitude they'd have fallen to pieces, lost everything and blamed everyone but themselves

Now this is expert use of bold font.

Well done sir.

They did. Became #1 in tests and won the WC right after it despite all the wrongdoings against them. Meanwhile Australia entered their longest rut since the 80s.
We're talking about the present, all this is happening right now.

If they could do it in 08 surely they can do it now with complete control of the ICC and umpires cheating for the them

it'll be interesting to see if the new players continue the tradition of cheating when Rohit and Kohli retire
