Its true but you are also not addressing the fact that Lyon being off the boil is also what is causing this issue. You played the same 4 bowlers without an AR for a fair while too and it was never a problem then coz Lyon bowled so many overs.

Hasn’t really been a spinner’s series so far. Wickets falling so regularly to the quicks kind of means they get extra overs compared with normal, but do agree he bowled poorly first innings here. I thought he was reasonable in Brisbane to the extent he was used
