Hayden out to Panesar - another cut shot, 3 for Panesar in the one game all bouncing higher then the batsmen have expected. Does he always get abit of extra bounce like that ir is it the pitch?
I think most of it has to do with the extra bounce in the pitch. But, he does look a very intelligent bowler.

How well is Harmison bowling atm? Great stuff.

Jones fumbles a stumping chance for Clarke, would have had him easy.

Geraint Jones has actually kept wicket pretty well, taken a couple of wide deliviries down the legside that I wouldn't have expected a lot of keepers to get to. Obviously his batting has been pretty poor and I would like to see Chris Read come into the side for the next two games but I don't think it's that fair when so many people are criticising his glovework, which has improved heaps and is now pretty good.

His keeping has indeed improved and he has done some spectacular work. But, as a keeper that stumping is regulation. Sure there was a bit of extra bounce, but a good keeper gets those.

I agree entirely mate, he should've had that stumping but the way some people go on about him, you think he would be absolutely horrendous. Grant Nisbett, commentating on the Sri Lanka vs New Zealand game actually referred to him as "iron gloves". I'm all for giving Chris Read a game but people need to acknowledge that Jones isn't as hopeless as some make him out to be.

Unlucky session for England there. I put down Harmison somehow not taking more than one wicket that session to my Avatar Challenge. :D

Symonds` ton needed.

Doubt Ponting would give him that many overs to bowl, tbh.

Panesar could have easily gotten a couple more too.

I think England have got to get into the tail in this session, with 3-4 wickets. The lead is already getting big and Warne is going to be frothing at the mouth after seeing what Panesar is doing.

Doubt it will happen. The way things are going now Australia are looking favorites for a 400+ lead.

Um there are 1-2 chances every over...all England need are a couple good overs.
