That is unfair to the team batting first..isn't it? So if the team is skittled for 100 odd then how is that a fair cricket and good pitch?
At least here, the turn is there for all days. Only thing that matters is if you have quality spinners or not in your team..
and if your batsman can cope up with a turning ball or not.. It is simply a matter of skill and nothing to do with pitches or luck..
If a team doesn't have good spinners to take wickets in this pitch ,it's a their lack of skill..

If someone doesn't see this fact, then they are biased too much or don't have the slightest IQ to understand cricket...
As simple as that..
Lol no it isn’t unfair to the team batting first at all. Anymore than this pitch is unfair to a side batting last which gets skittled for 100. The difference is a pitch which starts green showcases a diversity of skills across the game. If a pitch goes through the top and rags from day one, you rule out one of the skill sets in the game.

it’s why pitches like this are inferior and historically have led to side which dish them out being inferior too

I mean I wouldn't want pitches like this all the time but they're definitely something I don't mind seeing every now and then. They're certainly a much more interesting contest than horrible roads where the main wicket taker is S. Pressure but that the ICC seems to think are fine.
Oh they’re good for a change for sure. There’s no doubt though that if they’d produced this last week and got belted they’d have come up with something different on the adjacent deck too.

at the end of the day, if you’re opening with a spinner days one and two it’s basically the 1880s and a retrograde step for the sport

would be funny if these ****s whinged about a proper turner

this is the perfect indian pitch that has moderate assistance for spinners throughout

good bounce and predictable turn

no balls that keep low or shoot through at ankle height

****ers should learn to play spin when its bowled by skillful spinners

batsmen can attack if they're good enough like pant and rohit showed us

batsmen can play a patient innings like rahane showed us and foakes is showing us right now

clueless ****s are going to be clueless tbh
Totally agree wth you mate

That was dismal. India bowled well from what I saw, but the pitch was still manageable.

I thought England did very well to bowl India out for 329, but the batting was abysmal.
Nope, they should have bundled out India for 200-250. Plenty of turn on offer. Leach is good, Mo could have done a little better, and may be a third spinner would have helped.

you are talking in circles. Either you don't understand or don't want to..
Whether it's a turning pitch or swinging pitch, the team that has the players with better skills to cope up with the condition wins..
If you don't have good players for that condition, you end up losing.
Both swing/spin are part of cricket and if your team doesn't have good enoughp players for a condition, blame your player for lack of skill
Not the condition. If you have only cry babies, better stick to only those conditions where your team can win

why is opening with a spin bowler bad? So you dont consider spin as a skill in cricket?
If yes, then stop watching any match where a spinner is playing.. watch baseball ffs. ?‍♂

Thanks Maestro Leonardo, but the point you aren’t following despite its abject simplicity is a deck which starts as this one did only favours the one skill set. It’s devolves, it doesn’t evolve.

Haha, you've got to be joking. 6 of the 20 wickets thats gone down this game has been to fast bowlers. That's still vastly more action than a spinner gets on a greentop.

It's YOU who don't understand basic facts.. and taking some BS..How many wickets are taken by spinners in average in green tops? Heck how many spin bowlers are even in the team generally? Which is the more one sided pitch.. In this match fast bowlers did take wickets if you even looked at the score card.. Look at how Rohit is playing in this same pitch now.. If this is not a difference in skill you can see, you are a hypocrite having bias, and no point in talking to you any further..
