One bad test and we're ready to dump the guy after persisting with a bloke who didn't effect a stumping for about 50 tests. Ok.
I'm not ready to dump anyone in particular, but it's really not just one bad Test, he missed a fair few in the Caribbean, and in the last match, if his 'keeping isn't appreciably better than buttler, than it's hard to see how he'll survive, so far it hasn't been IMHO.

As a NZ fan I'm surprised people are questiong Foakes' place (granted I didn't see the games in the West Indies). He's looked fantastic to me and on a different level to Blundell and Butler from what I saw in the Ashes. Has misjudged a dive today, but looks very tidy. Sangakkara strikes me as well placed to judge and he seems to rate him. His batting this series has been good too.

25 overs with the new ball and a change. Another ball change coming up in 5-10 overs likely

FFS if we ever pick Buttler as keeper again I will support the opposition. He is crap, had 57 tests and shown he isn't up to it and he isn't even that good a keeper. Are people forgetting the important innings Foakes has played in this series?

Broad wicket after ball change is hilarious.

Question for England fans: Have England often been a team that tries to change the ball, or is it a Baz initiative? He tried a lot as Kiwi captain (too much imo).

So the ball change worked and Broad gets his man. Bracewell struck on the crease all day vs Broad. Would have helped if he faced Leach more. No shame in getting out to broad though, he has left handers for break fast

Too easy in the end. But the extent of Macewell's contribution aside, 300 is a poor score having elected to bat and with this team composition.
