NSW side:

Brett Stewart, Matt King, Jamie Lyon, Matt Cooper, Jarryd Hayne, Greg Bird, Brett Kimmorley, Brent Kite, Danny Buderus (captain), Willie Mason, Nathan Hindmarsh, Andrew Ryan, Paul Gallen. Interchange: Luke Bailey, Steve Simpson, Ryan Hoffman, Kurt Gidley

White out for Gallen. Gidley in for Anasta. As expected not many changes.

QLD unchanged:

Karmichael Hunt, Brent Tate, Steve Bell, Justin Hodges, Greg Inglis, Darren Lockyer (captain), Johnathan Thurston, Steven Price, Cameron Smith, Petero Civoniceva, Tonie Carroll, Carl Webb, Dallas Johnson. Interchange: Shaun Berrigan, Jacob Lillyman, Nate Myles, Neville Costigan.

Gavin Cooper likely to be named as 18th man, interesting, his been ok for the Titans but doesn't seem to be that good. I'm sure he'll gun it for QLD if Johnson or Lillyman are out.

Why does King always have to play on the wing? Screw Cooper or Lyon, how much have they done in this series? Play King in the centres and he will play better like he does for his club. Origin II showed he is not a winger naturally by trade.

Oh well, for a Queensland perspective then it is good.

He'll be picked for Australia too.
Doubt it. At least if they don't pick the team on form.

Australian team should be packed with canetoads, especially in the backline.

Lyon would get picked infront of Cooper, its not like his done anything all year or series. Both have been pretty useless, but both haven't got any ball either. I dare say with Lockyer and Thurston in halves they will both play a lot better, cus they will actually get some ball to them. I would rather Bell infront of both of them personally, but that wont happen.

 Lyon & Cooper >>>>> Bell in the centres. Whilst i certainly believe that Lyon should'nt be picked because he's hardly playing well atm, but he's not a bad player, anyone remember how well he was playing before he went to pommie land?

I doubt it. It was about 5 years ago. The game has changed a lot since then, and he seems to have been left behind.

Petero has joined Penrith

That really is a crap piece of business by Brisbane and have Joel Clinton instead. Petero >>>> Clinton IMO.

tbh i'm glad he's finally signed with someone, ****ing sick of it taking up at least 1 page in the paper over the last fornight. If he really wanted to stay at the Broncos he would've taking the payrise they offered him in the first place instead of being a greedy bastard and asking for more.

Yeah, but in 4 years I think Clinton will be 28 or 29 and hopfeully in the prime of his career. However Petero will be either in Super League or retired.

As much as I love Petero and want him to stay at the Broncos, the Broncos are going to be much better off in 3 or 4 years time with Clinton than Petero.

Another bonus will be that the players will most likely pick up their act for the rest of the season and play for each other and do it for the guys that are leaving.
