yeh i agree to an extent, although Cameron Smith is the stand out for the captaincy, Thurston is a flawed genius, much like Johns, Smith really has all the attributes for a great captan... Crocker would lift with the captaincy, but he probably doesnt need the responsibility...
Playing as back rower, plenty of back rower to choice from really.
and the fact he hardly has any opposition for his spot, but i agree he actually deserves his spot in the team now unlike his previous chances...

Between Hunt, Slater, Bowen and even Wesser, Bowen is the worst defensively of the lot. Don't see a lot of Slater or Wesser, but from what I saw on Friday night Slater's defence seems to have improved. For once I don't want to be in the selector's chair.
Hunt is the #1 s far as im concerned, Slater is a 90% chance of a wing spot, Wesser will need a lot of luck and Bowen well is more of a chance but still i dont think we will see him game 1
True, but I see Crocker in the Tallis mold. Even though the results didn't show on the field when Tallis was QLD captain, because the NSW side was just so much better (and our selectors were shocking) he lifted to another level, something I think Crocker would do.
Yeah, AFAIC, Hunt should be wearing the 1. But, I've been burnt by these selectors too many times before.
He's barely played in the back row, IIRC 1, maybe two games, and he's played his best in the 6 anyway.
Probably should have paid more attention to their matches before say something. But then again its hard to watch a team that dire.
