Given that the ball has seamed all over the place, I guess the good people at Edgbaston were looking for the same awful tricks NZ deliberately pulled on India. 8-)

with only 21 overs per innings I'm surprised NZL didn't change their batting order - in the past they've dropped Marshall down the order & promoted the likes of Cairns etc to have a blaze..........

whos the sky commentator with the glasses ?

Everything that comes out his mouth sounds like a fart.. i thought it throu the entire test series aswell... in his eyes rain and LIGHT was "Extremelly unfair on the west indies"

hmmm i didnt know that rain and bad light made batting easyer ?

so I guess that's it then - only 21 overs possible & 20 required to constitute a match & the players are going off..................

another nil result = hard luck NZL as they have been unable to secure max points from 2 matches now.........

Michael Holding?

It doesn't make batting easier but rain makes fielding and landing your front foot very hard.

If so.. geez... what kinda series is this ? 3 games in 3 days ? :S with 2 teams (touring teams) having to play 2 games in 2 days...

Paul Allott. The games have been Thursday and Saturday and there will be one tomorrow - 3 in 4 days.

It was unsafe to continue as it was so wet the seamers couldn't safely run in with the amount of pressure and body weight that goes through their feet on impact.

Ooh, fantastic. The first shards of sunlight have just broken through in Exeter after 15 hours' steady drizzle.

Damn it, we would have won if the rain hadn't come, but not to be.

I thought even though it was only a 21 over affair..NZ showed some good signs.
