The Bears are looking at taking up a Perth option to get back in aren't they?
Sounds like it's confirmed for 2027 with PNG to follow the next year.

Personally not sure given the nature of Western Australians giving them an ex-NSWRL team is the right approach. I guess it gives them insurance for money early given that the Western Reds folded.

NGL I'd head over and make a long weekend of it over there for a game. Hope they go well. will be loose AF when PNG first starts. The crowds up there will go flat out crazy for a home side.

Not easy making comparisons but in recent times Thurston, Johns and Cameron Smith spring to mind.
I love these sort of discussions.

Lewis, Kenny, Clyde in the discussion among those I've seen. Too young to properly remember Fulton. Cam Smith obviously brilliant, Johns too. Lots of contenders but those stand out to me (Burgey)

Some interesting comments there? Here is my ATG Aussie Rugby League team and yes I am fortunate enough to have seen them all play.

That’s a top side too JB.

interesting choice of Muir at half. What got him the nod over fellas like Johns, Thurston, Sterling etc in your opinion?

That’s crazy you saw them all play - in my head even guys like Gasnier and Irvine feel like Bradman era players.

I'm obviously distraught at the predicament the Broncos find themselves in...

*snigger* *chortle*

And to think the year started with them having a fight amongst themselves after an afternoon out. Who would have thought it would all turn to **** from there!?

Grand final tickets booked etc etc
I am very sad that I won’t be able to go and watch Penrith win the Grand Final for the fourth year in a row.

Crazy stat: This could be the first Grand Final since 2019 where Stephen Crichton hasn’t scored a try.

In my personal opinion he could read a game better than anybody(even Lewis) was by far the best tackling half (Well above your mentions) and was more inventive in creating attacking options.
