dally m, and really owning an origin seriesSo, still only 25, where does Cleary rank among the all time halfbacks? 3 Premierships, 2 CC medals, 2 Origin series wins. Guess the only thing missing is a Dally M?

Way better than Fifita? He had an insanely good year. Nearly got a try or assist every week as a second row forward while doing plenty of tackles, offloads and hitups(he doesn't slack off from the hard work)Wouldn't swap any of them. Way better than Fifita and the other two and better value than Haas.
Sounds about right. He has had a second and a third in the Dally M, I’m sure its inevitable - I’m sure he and Edwards will keep taking points off each other though.dally m, and really owning an origin series
Yep. He’s got a line break in him but isn’t worth the consistency of the Penrith forwards.Way better than Fifita? He had an insanely good year. Nearly got a try or assist every week as a second row forward while doing plenty of tackles, offloads and hitups(he doesn't slack off from the hard work)
There's a limit to what one gun can do in a team as **** as the Titans.
He was inconsistent last year but this year he was ruthless. Comp wide he was top 5 for offloads and tackle busts, probably the most assists and tries of any forward(as separate stats, if you combine those into one stat he's probably double the forward in second place) and all in a team that finished bottom 4.Yep. Fifita was a very different player this year to the past & was very consistentYep. He’s got a line break in him but isn’t worth the consistency of the Penrith forwards.
Yeah, he was really good & also did it at Origin levelHe was inconsistent last year but this year he was ruthless. Comp wide he was top 5 for offloads and tackle busts, probably the most assists and tries of any forward, and all in a team that finished bottom 4.
Like if he's playing for Penrith he's Kikau on steroids.
We're getting betterYeah put Fifita in a good team he’d kill it.
Campbell and Brimson looked pretty good in the last month. Foran and Boyd are stinking it up as a halves pair thoughWe're getting better
Yeah fully agree. We need more Queensland teams but Gold Coast was never a good choice. Great place but professional sport isn't for every city. Ipswich would probably make more sense.Titans are just a retirement village/ last pay check outfit. Always have been. The Gold Coast is where pro sport goes to die. Players move there for the lifestyle and mostly mail in their “efforts”. And if you see a young player choose to go there, it basically means they’re happy being mediocre and will never live up to their potential.
Just going by the amount of Broncos colours around the place, I don’t think that it’s anything like as important as it was when they were the only Queensland NRL teamNow that the Broncos have lost, and I am therefore in the position to be gracious towards their efforts last night, you'd have to say they'll give it a fair shake next year - unless they lose Reynolds to injury for a chunk of the season. Walsh was too frantic last night a lot of the time and overplayed his hand but still did what he does every game and shreds the opposing team to bits at an opportune time. He'll be a hell of a player over the next few years. They have a lot of very good players in the team.
We're heading back up to Brisbane today, which sucks...the beach is much better, and but it will be a pleasure to bathe in the tears of the vanquished.
