So I want to know this: If I moved to Madrid, could I then justify to support Real Madrid, or would I have to support Alethico not to be branded a glory-hunter? Or could I support Real if I lived pretty close to the stadium? Also what happens if I move somewhere and the two teams in the one town play out of the same ground?

Depends if you've never supported a side prior to that point.

If I moved away, I'd still support Coventry to my dying day.

However if I didn't support a side and moved somewhere, that's a different story.

If he didn't support a side in Spain it'd be ok. But if he supported Inter and tehy met Real in the CL he should go for Inter?

I would always support Inter.

Can anybody tell me why Real signed Jonathan Woodgate? The guy is about as injury prone as Andrew Flintoff (when he starts playing well he gets injured).

At least they have learnt a thing or two about defence and have brought defenders.

Good luck to Woodgate though, at least he is prepared to go aboard and try his luck and he shouldn't find that hard to fit with David Beckham already there and he and Michael Owen just joined.

However, I would take John Terry, Sol Campbell, and Rio Ferdinand over Woodgate most days of the week (you must admit England have some fine centre backs and I rate Ledley King highly).

When fit, Woodgate is good enough to be a first choice pick for England - sheer class.

It is amazing that we have Campbell, Terry, Ferdinand, Woodgate, Southgate (and King) all at the same time.

Embrassment of riches indeed.

When Ferdinand suspension expires who would you have as your first choice centre-backs? I would go for Campbell - Terry not to ruin the combination they have formed together. Maybe when Ferdinand gets more matches under his belt then I would reconsider.

BTW has anybody seen Ferdinand's silly hair style? I guess that what happens when you have too much spare time on your hands...

Yeah I do feel sorry for Blackburn there, they deserved at least one point IMO.

Other results:

Birmingham 0 - Chelsea 1
Manchester United 2 - Norwich 1
Newcastle 0 - Newcastle 1
Liverpool 2 - Man City 1
Charlton 2 - Portsmouth 1
Fulham 2 - Bolton 0
Crystal Palace 1 - Everton 3

Newcastle need to get their internal problems sorted out big time or they are screwed, or maybe it will be like last season, start slowly and then rid a good run off form.

Good to see Ronaldo wasted no time in getting pole position for the Jurgen Klinnsman Trophy yesterday, he should walk away with his second title this year.

Jurgen would be proud

Congratulations to Arsenal on getting 42 games unbeaten.

I may hate them but it is no mean feat.
