How is it any worse than when a player does it?

From what the radio had been saying he had been shouted at all game by those fans, so responded when Chelsea scored.

He was adequate, but when he got to the highest level he was found out.

Erm, that's because he inherited a better team.

He inherited a legendary defence, plus Bergkamp and Wright but the rest of the team he made himself. To take over a squad which wasn't anything special especially compared to Sir Alex's at the time and win the double so quickly was a fabulous achievement.

Too bad he still hasn't properly replaced that defence, although Senderos looked the dog's bollox last night.

Fair point actually. He did ok for himself despite having a first touch like a nervous virgin!

I bet his chances-to-goals ratio compares badly to someone like Fowler or Sir Les tho.

Yeah, I'd agree with your last comment, but it was due to his off-the-ball movements that got him that many chances in the first place, which Les or Robbie may not get.

Doubtful, Fowler has the 'pace' with his beer gut to make great chances into half-chances. One of the most over-rated footballers around, I was so glad when all the morons out there were suddenly becalmed after chuntering on about Fowler for England in a manner that would make a Jerry Springer audience blush.

Cole was in and out of the England squad, and being in and out can't help and makes it therefore a bit unfair.

His goals for Newcastle, however, are not.
