I assume you're aware of the term "games in hand"?

In this case the games in hand are 2 from WBA, Norwich and Palace...

Disappointing result this morning, great skill from Henry to set up the first goal but more defensive uncertainties brought about the equaliser for Southampton. Down to United and Chelsea now, that match effectively rules Arsenal out IMO.
