Chelsea already have the League in the bag and should win the League Cup.

I wager Manure won't win 2.
Until they do then anything is possible, injuries could see the lead fall from the 9 points with their run in. And it could be very possible that man u win the cl and fa cup.

The problem is there aren't very many at all. I agree it's Arsenal's loss, but it is also English Football's loss.
Why is it English football's loss if the young players don't play for Arsenal?

All imports will do is push the rubbish out.

Let's rewind to 1992, 1993, 1994 - before the imports hit the Premiership. Andy Sinton, Tony Daley and Geoff Thomas played for England. We're not going back.

To add to the list above - other youngsters coming through in England in the last handful of years: Owen, Gerrard, Rooney, Downing, Wright-Phillips (x2?), Kirkland, Robinson, Michael Dawson - there are no problems with the production of talents.

The only problem English football is facing is financial meltdown in the lower leagues.

Oh yes, the likes of Rooney, Ronaldo, Ferdinand, van Nistlerooy were all for almost nothing 8-)
To win the title in '93 from being mid table plodders in '86, he spent almost nothing. 8-)

First off, no-one cares about the mickey mouse cup.

Secondly, I'm not sure about the League anymore. They've scored 1 in 3 so far post Robben, who may not play again this season from what I heard. Duff didn't exactly look fit, neither did Bridge, and in general they didn't look good this afternoon.

Mourinho IMO made his first blunder yet by using all 3 subs at half time - I'd have thought he'd have known well enough not to risk it.

Sending off was nailed-on and never in question for me.
I don't agree with that useless Andy Gray much, but I have to say I think it was harsh it was harsh. The touch he took wasn't good, meant he was going away from goal and would have ended up with quite a tight angle with defenders running back to the line.

1) Why did United play a first team in the semi final, then?
2) They've conceded eight goals in 27 games
3) It happens

Which would still have been a clear scoring opportunity.

1) Because even more talents could be coming through if they did. I can see Wenger is doing a job, but I'd rather see English players in an English game.

2) With an amazing contribution from Arsenal there.

1) Haven't a clue, no-one would really have cared whether we'd have won or not though. Since we lost, no-one moaned about it at all, because they didn't care.

2) Don't win games if you don't score though.

3) You don't take reckless risks like that.

Erm, because it's English. There's a reason it's called the English League (not that you'd notice it by looking at Arsenal's squad).

Does English football act primarily as a feeder for the national team, or is an entity in its own right?

Im fiercely against the Kolpak intrustion of cricket, less so of foreigners in football..

The reason is because the clubs are in England (and Wales)...

Good footballers won't be pushed out by foreigners.

He may have scored, certainly not clear cut though.
Which makes it a red card. It doesn't have to be a certain goal, it just needs to be a good chance. Personally I'd put it at any chance better than 20-25% = red card.

Yes, but even more good footballers could be produced if Arsenal:

a) Invested more in Academy

b) Had English players in Academy rather than the young players on show yesteday.
