It wasn't James' fault.Richard Dunne had a hand in both goals.James could do nothing really.
Explain to me how the second wasn't his fault. Yes, Dunne sscrewed up the clearance, but if James calls, Dunne didn't need to go for it.

But at the same time, James cannot legislate for that sort of foul touch from Dunne. If James didn't call for it, then Dunne should've simply cleared it.

If I remember rightly James was hardly 100% certain to collect the cross anyway, I seem to recall he was about level with an attacker and would probably have gotten a punch to the ball which was probably worse than a clearance with the boot.

Absolutely disgraceful, how anyone English can support a bunch of diving, whining, foreign, disrespectful, cheating mercenaries is completely beyond me.
So it's alright if they're English and dive, whine, cheat etc.? (looks at Old Trafford)

FWIW I saw most of the game, and thought Arsenal were awesome, I don't care what country the players came from.

If they were English then there'd at least be 1 reason to support them.

I'd much rather see English players in an English League.

Interesting to hear that Wenger puts £4,000,000 a year into their academy, meaning he devotes much of his time to British players. That'd be good, compared to the £30,000,000 or so he spends a year on foreign imports then.

Who else is looking forward to a rooney demolition job at goodison today, i sure as hell am!!!!
Nope. Up The Toffees!

Although I do have the lardy granny-banging little scally in one of work's dream teams, so I'm hoping 4-3 to Everton with a Rooney hat-trick! :D

I may go and make a bet actually 2-0 with rooney to score first. Bloody convincing so long as ruud doesn't start.

Arsenal (who have a Brit goalkeeper on the bench this time) 0-0 at half-time thanks to a perfectly good goal being ruled out. Arsenal could easily be down to 9 men as well. It again amazes me how few yellow cards (or worse) Arsenal get. Reyes could be sent off twice in each half if he was booked for diving.

I'm more looking forwards to the good old Goodison faithful putting Rooney through hell.
I have friends in the ground and I expect things to be thrown ;)

Ah good, all-foreigner Arsenal have to play a replay, cue more whinging from Wenger about fixture congestion. Anyone who says sides like Arsenal today are good for the English game need shooting (shoot Sam Allerdyce anyway), don't need any more mediocre foreigners taking the places that should be given to Englishmen (Sven take note).

I'm envisioning English cricket ending up like this in say, 10 years time?
