If Routledge won't sign with Crystal Palace, they should sell him now before he's free at the end of the season.
There'll still be a fee in the summer - presumable Palace expect it to be around £1-£1.5mill

Poor Howard.Probably won't get another game for the season.
Go Chelsea they are so gonna win the Carling Cup now, yeh Chelsea's last goal was totally Howards fault, but i dont think he will play many more games this season

So it'll be Steven Gerrard versus Chelsea basically. This should be a good game though. my prediction is 2-1 in favour of Liverpool

Wasn't howards fault, it is up for the defence to clear the cross that came in, all the defenders just let it drift in. If Howard had gone for the far post anticpating the ball would go there, it would have left the entire goal open, which is something you shouldn't do. As for the final, is't gonna be a chelsea breeze. 2-0 unless Gerrard and morientes turn something on, though i find that highly unlikely.

I don't think the goal was particularly Howard's fault either, the ball bounced well short of the goal and one of the defenders should have cleared it. Liverpool need a minor miracle to beat Chelsea in the final, Liverpool are a class below Chelsea, Man Utd and Arsenal.

I expect Chelsea to dominate Liverpool. Not too much though.Gerrard's there. But a Liverpool win is highly improbable.

DVD CHOICE
Included: Bobby Moore, Gary Lineker, Sir Bobby Charlton, Paul Gascoigne, Alan Shearer, Bryan Robson, David Beckham, Terry Butcher, Martin Peters, Chris Waddle, Stuart Pearce, Steven Gerrard
Missed out: Rio Ferdinand, Sol Campbell, Paul Ince, John Barnes, Ashley Cole, Viv Anderson

Now, maybe the reason that they weren't included is because they're not good enough? Viv Anderson?! Ashley Cole?! Get off. Barnes? One goal in t'Maracana. Ince? That penalty in Euro 96, and playing blood-spattered in Rome. Campbell's net contribution is two disallowed goals and Rio will forever be remembered for the drug test. I'm more offended at the exclusion of Teddy Sheringham, Gareth Southgate and Steve Flack.

Net contribution of Chris Waddle? Missing a crucial penalty? :p

Diamond Lights, man. I also suggest you research the course of 1981 FA Cup efforts.

There's also the small matter of Peter Shilton and Stanley "I was a bit useful" Matthews not making the cut.

Did. Turned up the following teams...

Tottenham Hotspur: Aleksic, Hughton, Miller, Roberts, Perryman, Villa, Ardiles, Archibald, Galvin, Hoddle, Crooks

Manchester City: Corrigan, Ranson, McDonald, Reid, Power, Caton, Bennett, Gow, Mackenzie, Hutchison, Reeves

Surely you wouldn't want Ricky Villa in there?

Oh, I get it. This has something to do with the Grecians again?
I'm offended at the insinuation (however correct it may be) of my one-dimensional appreciation of football... :p
