Nice to see the U-21 side has emulated some of the talents of the senior side. I hope no-one takes pity on Arsenal when they win nothing this year, their only hope is the FA Cup or recruiting more stooges for the FA board.

You have to win the League Cup to take its UEFA place, otherwise it goes to the next team in the league (see Birmingham City in 2001 when they lost to Liverpool). I had £5 on six home wins to come in (Arsenal, Man U, Hartlepool, City Hull & Celtic all did their bit), so Swindon have cost me about £40!

Sol campbell is the single most important reason arsenal went 49 games unbeaten. Without him the arsenal defence are lost. He is one of the greatest centre backs england has ever had.
