calling for van Persie to be booked for diving when Arsenal had been awarded a free kick for the challenge
Nice to see the U-21 side has emulated some of the talents of the senior side. I hope no-one takes pity on Arsenal when they win nothing this year, their only hope is the FA Cup or recruiting more stooges for the FA board.

You have to win the League Cup to take its UEFA place, otherwise it goes to the next team in the league (see Birmingham City in 2001 when they lost to Liverpool). There are only three fair play places in the whole of Europe anyway, so it really doesn't make too much difference. Interesting to see Liverpool U19 beat Spurs...

RE: Van Persie - comical dive, and as is my understanding of the laws "any simulating action with the intent of deceiving the referee should be classed as unsporting behaviour and punished accordingly"

Apart from the fact they've been drawn in the semis?
To be fair, I had searched and had found nothing on the bbc about it and nothing on goal.com, and you have time zones in your favour.

But I'm wrong as usual.

In other words, you have absolutely nothing to back it up.
Lets take Liverpool on Sunday, then.

About 3 of them (including Campbell) made a pigs-ear of it and let Kewell win the challenge, which consequently dropped to Mellor and we all know what happened then.

Yeah, im sure Viera and co are ars*d.
On current form, they're not going to get near winning the League, and the CL is still way beyond them, and the FA Cup is a bit of a lottery and anyone out of a large number could win it.

Yes, and that is exploiting his supposed lack of pace how exactly?

Oh right, it's not is it.

My friend but a £20 bet on chelsea winning all four cups at 150-1 at the beginning of the season. Now the odds are 33-1 and i'm getting tempted.

Can I just say a big "BOOOO!!" to Swindon for not holding onto their lead agianst Notts County. :@

I had £5 on six home wins to come in (Arsenal, Man U, Hartlepool, City Hull & Celtic all did their bit), so Swindon have cost me about £40!

My "revenge" list is getting longer by the day....

Oh well, it proved even the 'oh so fantastic' Arsenal players make huge ****-ups at times.

Sol campbell is the single most important reason arsenal went 49 games unbeaten. Without him the arsenal defence are lost. He is one of the greatest centre backs england has ever had.

He's good, but way overrated still.

And 'one of the best centre backs England has ever had' is going way over the top.
