You really do talk a lot of rubbish at times. I'd have him ahead of just about any defender in England at the moment.
Rio Ferdinand and Ricardo Carvalho?

Andy van der Meyde must be the most rumoured player going around in world football - first Ajax, then Everton, then Valencia, then Atletico Madrid, and now Middlesbrough.

b) And who are these decent teams that have exploited it?
a) As a blocker yes, as an overall defender, behind Terry, and Ferdinand IMO.

b) A number of teams in Europe.

Exeter v Doncaster is something special...

"Every team has its Neil. The No. 1, endearingly eccentric, never-say-die fan, who loyally attends every match he possibly can, and supports his team with all his heart"

"Everybody who has ever watched a game ... will know Neil, if not by name then by his behaviour."

"Today was not Neil's day. In truth, it hardly ever is."

And relating to cricket...

"Then how can cricket be saved? They should put Neil in charge."

Why would 67,000+ people go to Old Trafford to watch Man Utd Reserves take on Arsenal U-21's?

I mean, Juventus can't even get 20,000 people in to watch a Champions League match against Bayern Munich.

I'm glad to see - not often domestic competitions get so much limelight.

Some rather odd refereeing decisions though (although the radio commentator really doesn't know the rules - calling for van Persie to be booked for diving when Arsenal had been awarded a free kick for the challenge and the ref only refused treatment because he thought the player was making a meal of it)

So what happens say if it is a Chelsea and Man U final and both make the Champions League, is there a UEFA Cup spot handed out to the next team that didn't make it into Europe.

yeh, the team that came 7th? would get in, also depends on who wins and makes the final of the FA cup...

What do people think of giving a UEFA Cup spot because of 'Fair Play', seems bit of a farce.
