lol yes slight contradiction there, what i mean is that i have doubts over renewing, but of course i will as i want to see them battle theyre way back up, i still support them as one of my 2nd or 3rd teams lol, other teams i support include, primarily arsenal, then a series of others such as Reading, Southampton, Rotherham and Watford.

I didnt understand Craig. Please clarify.
Sure.

In Football Manager 2005 I'm having my first crack at management and I'm Barcelona and I signed Thierry Henry for 47m pounds and his value is worth 41m pounds in which I refer to as a steal, as I never expected them to say yes, I expected them to say no and I would have no hope of getting him.

And then to top it all off, Robbie Fowler has a 92nd minute penalty to send Man City into Europe, but the save means that it's Middlesbrough that are in!
Is there something in the Manchester air which affects the penalty takers to miss it. It hasn't worked for David Beckham, Heinze, Fowler, RVN etc...?

Henry at Barca would be so awesome if ever. He plays good one touch football and would be a good combination.

Ronaldinho and Henry play almost the same style of football [regarding movement, favoured position and wing play],so I don't really think they would gel.

I never would have expected West Brom to do it. My word!! Anyway, be good to see who comes in in the summer. If it's a goalkeeper it's gotta be Cudicini. Anybody else won't cut it and then we can release Carroll and get a quality midfielder hopefully.

I say it's a bit unfair to call Carroll and Howard worthless. Actually United had the second best defensive record in the Premiership to Chelsea. The problem's been finishing IMO. Without van Nistelrooy Man Utd were poor in front of goal. They had the quality to create the chances but just couldn't finish it off. Sure he can't run around like Rooney but he's a striker in the truest sense of the word. If United had him for the enitire season who knows? I mean 20+ clean sheets must mean something.

Well you seem to be conveniently overlooking the fact that he was injured for quite a bit of the season.

One goal in nine from 23 Feb to 4 April.

6 in 17 Premiership games.

That's even worse than I thought it was.

Six weeks?! To score when you're the team's main striker and the entire team is based around the ball hitting you and going in?

Well, that's an incredibly weak, rose-tinted and bigoted refusal to see the slightest shortcomings in the club you blindly worship.

Halsey, you're now officially only number 2 Man Utd glory boy.

I'm not saying they didn't have a bad season but it is true that they did better defensively than offensively. I never said van Nistelrooy didn't have a bad season. Of course he did. That's plainly obvious. As well as most of the other players.
