Was it a good result for your team James?
2-2 is disappointing I'd say from 2-0 after 13 minutes, but it sounds like West Ham deserved the win, and crucially Ipswich are yet to beat them this season.

For me the game on Wednesday is bigger than the final as I can't see with Preston or Derby posing much threat, I mean Derby shipped 6 to Coventry not that long ago (!)

No, Beattie got sent off, correctly, for being an idiot.
True, atleast hurt him if you've decided to serve 3 matches.

The Everton fans' reaction to the sending off was ridiculous,Mike Riley [??] made the right decision, and everyone was booing Gallas for the whole game.

And I'm an Everton fan.

Yes, but I do remember correctly Gallas going straight to ground (ok not as a dive per se) when Beattie had hardly touched him or hardly hurt him. Beattie was an indiot, but Gallas acted like a softie and should have turned around and laughed at him.

Derby to beat Ipswich in the final. George Burley's ultimate revenge! :D

Well, changing the subject from the playoffs, I'm sure I'm not the only one glued to the footie atm. Going to be good watching (especially as a neutral!)

:D

Well, the Canaries are 1-0 down.

Not sure who I want to stay up - anyone but West Brom really(nothing against Robson, though).

Not likely they'll make it now to be fair - either way, can only admire the job he's done at Derby after the financial worries.

Must say Fergie's certainly helped out Harry with that selection.

Sounds like Norwich have been somewhat hard-done-by with a penalty call.

Watching on Sky; it was one of those that if it was out of the box it would've been a free kick.

Penalty for me tho, Knight didn't just stand his ground, he leant into MacKenzie.

Ha, ironically as I type Ashton has had a goal disallowed for leaning into Zat Knight!! far less in that too.

Another fair shout for a pen waved away; Volz clips Huckerby who maybe goes down a little too easy.

Looks like Naaarwich not going to get much out of Dunn today.....

Man City 0 - 1 Middlesbrough

Just noticed that if Man City beat Middlesbrough 4 - 3 and Tottenham beat Blackburn 3 - 0,City and Spurs would be equal on points, goal difference and goals scored.

What happens then???
