indeed he does, as does howard,

same goes for arsenal, i rate lehmann higher than any of the prior mentioned and almunia, but arsenal need someone better and younger, none of these four keepers are befitting of the top two sides in the premiership imo.

Although i couldnt care less if man utd sort it out or not tbh, if they dont then they will continue to make hilarious gaffs and as an arsenal fan im more than happy with that, nothing wrong with seeing the back of van nistelrooy either.

van Nistelrooy can stay thankyou very much.

I'd quite happily take Almunia. ;)

lol almuinia or carrol is a tough choice actually.....

and as for nistelrooy apparently he might be sold to make funds, considering fergy spent 2 seasons budget on rooney they are a bit short apparently...

Howard, Ferguson and van Nistelrooy will still be there next season. Carroll I think though will go. Last season when Howard came over he did pretty well you have to admit. So he's had one off season, he deserves at the least another season. van Nistelrooy's been injured for quite a bit so you can't expect him to spring immediately back to form. Lehmann's not bad but Almunia's just crap.

nistelrooy is good i agree, that might not be a factor in he decision to sell him mind you, must say doing so would be extremely unwise.

OMG, yeah well played. i thought everton was much better than that. goes to show apart from chelsea, man u, and arsenal the rest of the teams in the prem are cannon fodder.

A la Deco

i agree to an extent, below the top three there are about 4 average sides like newcastle, everton, middelesbrough, liverpool, maybe spurs, the rest are dire.

exactly, the premeirship is getting as bad as the scottish league dare i say it. because Man u are getting no better and sooner rather than later the bookies will rule them out of contention

By the same logic, so is the Italian league, the Spanish league, the Dutch league...

Intriguingly, England's UEFA Coefficient points this year are split as follows:

Liverpool 25*
Newcastle 22
Chelsea 20
Arsenal 14
Man Utd 14
Middlesbrough 10
Millwall 1

I agree (I remember when we won it 2 years ago they wen't from drawing 2-2 at Bolton to hammering Southampton 7-0, at the time Southampton were a very decent side).

no not the spainish, that was deco that made the comment, a couple of years ago real sociadad lost the title on the last day, and nthen next season they were relegated. Also Barcalona and Madrid do go through the season walking over every time in their way, it is much more even then that, there are no cannon fodder teams

When there's seventeen points between Real Madrid in second and Villarreal in third, Madrid have had three five-goal victories this season, and Barcelona three four-goal wins this season, there are no cannon fodder teams? Sure, believe what you want.

And as for Real Sociedad, they're still in La Liga - they just finished 14th the season after they were 2nd. Same thing happened to Leeds, although they were never that close to the winning team...

One question: How on earth can the English league be so bad when a fifth-placed team in it has reached the Champions' League final?

And Malcolm G gets his way. Man Utd are now his club. Much as I'd love it, I can't see United crashing down anywhere.

Glazer's in it for profit and profit will only be attained by staying in the Premiership.

Still, never saw any United fans complaining when they became a PLC, or released sixteen different away shirts a year.
