He He GO PSV!, bet Simon is loving this
Simon was loving it, until the 90th minute... if halves were 40 minutes long we would have won the tie 2-0 on aggregate!
or maybe not, but still, its worrying how often we conceede just before half time or full time

Howards supposedly been given a contract extension by Man Utd. I have no probs with this. He's till a young guy and last season was very impressive. This season has been tough but i've got faith in him.

If you really want to settle for mediocrity then don't expect to be challenging for the league too soon.

I've worked out who Manure need to buy to fill the 3rd centre midfield role, but not sure if they'll get to him before others do:

Essien.

couldnt agree more, that was one of my players that i try to keep up with. To tell the truth i can see him in Arsenal colours, but i dont think he will come to England

Well the season is back Community Sheild tomorrow and the Championship starts today with Leeds vs Derby.

If you're confused at the name changes this is how it works.

Division 1----Coca-Cola Championship
Division 2----Coca-Cola League 1
Division 3----Coca-Cola League 2

Arsenal will of course win every competition they can (Premiership, FA Cup, League Cup, Community Shield)

Leicester will win the Championship, Sheffield United and Millwall will be promoted with them.

Hull will win League 1, Darlington League 2 and Dagenham and Redbridge will do the Conference and FA Trophy double

Well that's what I think let's here your thoughts.
Could this be a "none right"? :)

Amusing to read through the first few pages of this thread and see the ManYoo fanboy twins of Halsey and Rose telling us all how good Djemba*2, Bellion, Kleberson, Forlan are and how they're going to win the league because Chelsea need time to gel.

My Conference predictions were pretty solid with the exception of writing off Barnet...

TBF Arsenal actually did win the Community Shield & might yet win the FA, so it's not a "none"! :p

Happiness tinged with sadness, the atmosphere today was pretty awesome at Boundary Park, and we won to avoid relegation but Franchise FC managed to sneak a win as well so Torquay go down.

I ****ing hate this United side. TBF the penalty was dubious (6 for one and half dozen for the other, hand across O'Shea's face too) but we've let them back AGAIN.

Well they did take a while to gel (8 or so games). :p

I should also add how amusing it is to look back and see Neil convinced Southend's idiots would go up and didn't. ;)
Playoffs to come. But yes, that's a stuff-up and a half.
