Maybe it's because the Halliwell-Jones is less than 18 months old and an all seater, whilst Knowsley Road is 80% terraces but actually has an atmosphere, which is more than you can say for Warrington's new stadium...
IIRC, Halliwell Jones isn't all seater

Fair play to The Scousers. I'm still not convinced it was a goal, but they probably deserved it over two legs.

I bet Jose is going to be good value in the interview afterwards! :D

I reckon it was in.

But I don't know how the linesman could have seen it...

What a boring load of dross that game was, 2 of Chelsea's forwards (Drogba and Kezman) played like they'd never seen a football before let alone kicked it, Robben wasn't much better. I still can't understand why on Earth you'd take Joe Cole off also. Nice to see all the English players did at least reasonably well anyways.

im outraged! i cant even see straight yeat, the red mist has not cleared. How on earth can the linesman call it a goal when Gallas is directly in the way. And how could the ref tell it was a goal from the postion he was in. Especially as the audience cannot even tell with any of the cameras. It is a joke. which ironicly is very far from funny. there has to be justice, this is not right. ive heard of controversy but this is something from a story or something.

But if it hadn't been given it was a red card to Czech and a penalty...

the final will be boring, Liverpool do not stand a chance in hell. Moreover the final will be pointless.

I'm not sure the ref would have sent him off, he seemed to bottle handing out cards later on against Carvalho on two separate occasions.

but that would have been a bit more 'clear-cut'. There is no room for controversy in games as big as these. Were is technology?
