Like I say if you were talking about Defensive Midfielders, then Vieira is your man, but if we are talking about midfielders in general then he is not IMO.

He can get forward as well when he wants to - he has so much drive and lifts the entire team, even when they're behind and struggling (not that that's been needed in the last 12 months!)

Or this because you are still bitter about about him getting the two goals that beat England or he didn't have a great season for Real in 03/04? If you actually folowed what I've said about him, I've been saying I don't think he's as good as other people do for years, so there is no bitterness here.

Totti - talented, but petulant
Raul - under-rated
Valeron - not consistent enough
Nedved - good player
Vieri - see Totti and then some.
