I don't think he was racist intentionally......when he was with woodgate..those two were nut cases...any way his skills were ok..but i never really liked him...sorry to any lee bowyer fans...

yeah true but when those guys were together they always caused mayhem....he might have been racist( always debated though) in my opinion i feel that he was but under the influence of his other team mates.....

others such as ? woodgate ? methinks it was woodgate under the influence of bowyer, since that incident woodgates behavious has been immaculate, bowyers has not, he has continued to play dirty and incured that ban from uefa for stamping on the head of a malaga player, not to mention several other on and off the pitch debacles.
