Sticking behind someone blindly does not equal true fan. Having the team's best interests at heart does.
No it does not...Im not stciking behind them blindly neither....Having the best team does not count that just means you are a glory hunter...I guess you are from what you are telling me

I am from Essex... my dad is from Manchester, supports them as a result, so I support them as a result. Been there, done that.

And yes you are sticking behind them blindly considering they visibly do nothing but watch us fall.

What is true support?

Being blind to weaknesses - because Djemba Djemba, Miller and Kleberson clearly are/were?

It's perfectly compatible to be a true supporter of a club and make out-of-game criticisms of players. One of our wingers/attacking midfielders has scored none in 45 games this season. It's a perfectly legitimate suggestion that Les can't bloody shoot - but whenever he gets the ball I'm on the toes of my feet, heart in mouth - before having to duck the resulting shank.

Your "don't criticise ever" approach seems awfully amit-esque (search the site).

Fact - last night was desperate and the lapses in discipline were woefully unprofessional.
Fact - the youth academy hasn't produced anyone in eight years.
Fact - most of your recent buys have either been massively expensive can't-fail, or rubbish
Fact - you haven't been in the title race since October at the latest
Fact - your younger players can't beat a bunch of kids and veterans from Exeter
Fact - you've won one European knock-out clash since 1999 (not including qualifiers)

There are more, but I can't be bothered.

If Ferguson gets us relegated, you will still believe he is the best? Give me a break.

Real Madrid don't have a team... they have individuals.

He signed for Burnley in June 2003!!

Rossi has played all of, what, two games as sub in the Carling Cup, and Richardson is equally if not more likely to become another Ben Thornely than another Ryan Giggs.

Crucially, United have lost the air of invincibility that they had half a decade ago. Teams were a goal down psychologically running out outside the Stretford End, now teams go there and believe they can win. And they do.

Im not saying alex is the best all im saying is you should not give him such criticism...he has a young team to play with and he is doing his best to gel them togther helping the club for future generations, to win the title next season or the season after...things come to those who wait youll see...

We don't have an academy. We have youth teams, and half of our first team squad are locally born, which is a clear indicator of success for what we want. It's not comparable to United, who haven't produced a single young player who has "made it" into their regular first XI at any point since Beckham, Scholes, Giggs and the Nevilles. A couple of predictions - Rossi to end up in Serie B or C1, and Richardson at someone like Huddersfield, Bradford, Barnsley or Oldham.

That's eight years, no end products, just a bunch of cast-offs (one of whom, incidentally, is now back at his home town club Exeter). If football's about the future, what the bloody hell was Ferguson doing two-three years ago to get them into this state - it's six years since Barcelona, there's no excuses available.

For Man Utd, it's first or nowhere. This just isn't good enough, and Ferguson has no one else to blame (despite the fact that he's still having a go at match officials after two cast-iron red cards.

Agree with all except that I don't think he had a go at match officials about those red cards in all fairness.
