That's a fair point. Clearly my brain's on "standby".
Maybe you're thinking of David Johnson?

As a Jamaican-born UK passport holder he was thought to qualify for all 4 home nations, but it turned out his birth-mother was English (he's adopted), so only qualifies for us & Jamaica.

Played for our "B" team & Jamaica and was named in a Welsh squad once too IIRC.

he he just seen the Bowyer, Dyer incident v funny. Bowyer looked to have got at least one decent right in
Think I'd back Bowyer in a scrap between the two. Not sure who'd I'd want to win tho, both rather dodgy characters.

The only surprise was that it was on the pitch.

Bowyer's style is more "outside the night-club, backed up by a load of his mates".

Time that idiot was drummed out of football.

Agreed; he's a tool.

Dyer far from an angel tho. Heard so v unpleasent stories about him. Not time or place tho.

well Sounness said that Dyer has assured him he didn't throw any punches and they are treating it as Bowyer was the culprit, cleary throwing at least 2 punches.

Just saw the little contremps on MOTD. Typical of Souness trying to pass the blame onto the ref! Defending the indefensible!

Have to say I afforded myself a little smile when the commentator said "& a miserable day is completed for Newcastle" after Barry's second pen. Not quite!! :D

It's almost worth getting up early just to see the repeat tomorrow, the handball penalty was pretty damn good too, shame it was overshadowed really...
