In ODIs he's played Aus 17 times and has 709 @ 54.53
Against all others he's played 47 matches and has 1144 @ 26.60.

In Tests he's played Aus in 12 matches and has 1334 @ 63.52
Against all others he's played 38 matches and has 2126 @ 40.88.

There are a couple of ex-internationals playing in Australia - Goodwin in WA and Andy Flower in SA. But its not something they strive for.

i also think Vermuelen plays too.

they should really try and bring in more players from say Zimbabwe, bangladesh and even Kenya. They'd be playing with the worlds best...and some who will be the worlds best.

Laxman's average is seriously skewed because he had to open so many times earlier in his career. If you get rid of them and count only innings in which he batted in his proper positions, his record becomes much better.
