I've heard that, although apparently Carlos is also being touted around the English Premiership teams. With the exchange rate being what it is I reckon he could earn nearly twice as much over here.

BTW, on the Super League site there's a big splash on Jones signing for UTC & it says he's only 28! I had him down at 32 or 33! He's been around for ever.

Birthdate - May 7, 1976 (Auckland) So he'll be 29 in a couple of weeks.

Man my family ****s me off.

They are all huge union fans and as such they out voted me and are watching the Crusaders v.s. Cats when I could be watching the Eels and Tigers go head to head in what looks like would be a great match.

Spencer won't play league, it's almost certain he's off to Northampton to play rugby at the end of the year.

The Warriors will either now push heavily to sign Mundine or look at other players coming off contract in the NRL.

I think Mundine is there best bet TBH..

Did something come out today in the papers in Auckland Tim about Spencer?

I think it was in the Herald..I definately read somewhere today that Northampton were the favourites to get him.

There is a risk with Mundine. The Warriors will be freeing up a huge amount of money with Jones leaving..they could go after 2 decent to quality NRL players if they wanted.

They could buy Mundine after his fight this year and pay him match payments and see how good he shapes up and if he looks good then they could sign him for next season.

Maybe Anasta is another option? I believe he is off contract soon

Anasta would be an option...the Warriors bid would be strengthened by the fact that Steve Price is at the club. Although, I think they'd have a serious fight on their hands with the Waratahs.

As a Saints fan can I jusy say "yay"! :D

We really need a fly-half tho, Grayson's retiring & Shane Drahm is defecting to Worcester.
