Well despite what happens, im savouring this moment.. Its a feeling i've never experienced before, and being an old maggie i was exposed to some very low moments in the past... Yesterday was a very emotional time for me and im just lapping it up atm... Today i decorated the house with streamers, flags etc... Im ready for the moment...
Oh come on Brendon. Back your side. None of this savouring the moment no matter what happens. None of this "Even if we lose, we've done so well this season" crap. You've made the final and done it very well. If the Tigers don't win the premiership then everything that has happened this season will be forgotten.

Yes i agree with that, But what im saying is that its finally good for other teams to be taking us seriously, and although id be devestated if we lost, i would be happy deep down for the fact that we have done 1000 times better then anyone other then true tigers fans predicted...

Well, they've certainly proved me wrong. I do love their enthusiasm though. Those young guys just love to be playing. There's no complaints by them about how long the season is, or whatever. They just show up, as keen as anything to get out there and throw it around. It's really refreshing.

Alot is owed to Tim Sheens, this guy was supposedly washed up when he was axed from the cowboys, but it shows now that he didnt have the cattle up there... This guy knows what it takes to win Titles and he has done a brilliant job with the team.. He could've reeled in their attacking flair along time ago however he knew that their youthful exhuberance was going to be the key, out enthuse opponents.. NO FEAR is the attitude they have and its great to watch, even if i am having heart palpatations at 25.....

The Cowboys are the worst team I have ever seen make a grand-final. Tigers by 30.
you didnt watch the NRL in 2002 then?
Warriors are by far the worst team to make a grand final since Bulldogs 1998...

lmao

Warriors won the minor premiership with a 17-7 record and didn't lose a finals game before the grand-final.

The Cowboys finished 5th with a 14-10 record and got beaten by 50 in the first week of the play-offs. No comparison.

I don't see what's wrong with the 98 Bulldogs team. They rolled through the final series with a lot of close victories and an amazing win over Parramatta in the qualifiers IIRC. Silva, Halligan, Polla-Mounter, El Masri, Hetherington, Price, Britt. They were leading the grand-final at half-time aswell, although so were the Warriors.

I'd have to agree with Thierry Henry. St George in 96 weren't anything special either.

I agree with Simon about Bulldogs 98, they finished about 8th in the minor premiership didn't they? They were nothing special and sort of fluked their way through the finals before unsurprisingly getting flogged in the grand-final.

It's obvious Simon is just trying to wind me up by referring to the Warriors. Not only were they minor premiers but they played an exciting brand of league. And they were only 2 points down with 20 minutes left.

Agreed, however I don't put it down to Jones. He has been pretty **** for the past 3 seasons. I actually think we overachieved a little this year with a pretty weak squad, and we will be even weaker next year. Our halves are bad to say the least.
