worst effort of the season? i dont think so, we were the better side in this match but didnt convert our chances, when it got to 22-6 we shut up shop...
one of the cases where the better team lost on the day...
and the darren smith no try :-O
Personally, I've never seen a team be better for 80 mins and lose by almost 30 points...but whatever makes you happy :D

Well the NRL has gone to a new level...

The Tigers/Dragons game is now sold out, and with HEAPS of tigers fans missing out on Tix...

I am 1 of those who has missed out and to say im disgusted is an understatement...

The Dragons fans have had a week to buy their tickets for this game and with 30000 odd already sold before yesterdays game most tigers fans miss out...

I have been to both Semis and i know of guys who have been to every home game this year who have missed out on Tix because of this disgraceful scheduling...

The Parramatta/Cowboys game will be held in a 80000 seat stadium and will be lucky to draw half of that, whilst they put the Tigers/Dragons game in the piddly little SFS and both fanbases would go close to filling Telstra..
The NRL have come out and said they cannot move the game because it would put to many people out... Well why was it possible to move the Broncos/Cowboys game at the last minute last year?? This is a JOKE!!!

NRL once again you have outdone yourself....

I just want at least one of The Tigers or Cowboys to make the grand final (prefer both). Couldn't imagine a world where either the Dragons or Eels are the premiers.
Could live with Parramatta winning it but I hate the Dragons as much as I do with the Roosters, so I don't want them to win.

I agree and I doubt Parramatta and the Cowboys would have a problem, since they still have to play each and with Aussie Stadium would fit both teams, it would make the logical decision.

I feel sorry for you and I hope the tigers beat the Dragons so at least you will feel better :)

You should go join the uncritical Broncos coaching staff - you'd fit right in. :p

It’s time Wayne Bennett stood aside as Broncos coach. Of the starting side yesterday, eight of them have played for not just Queensland, but Australia. However, from 2001-2005, in the last six rounds of the regular season and in the finals, we have won just 9 out of 43 games (21%). Put simply, when the other teams lift at the business end of the season, the Broncos are invariably left in their wake.

Bennett’s the person responsible for the retention of players - the immobile, aging forward pack; the failure to recruit/retain creative players, like Scott Prince. This is the team he wanted - he is responsible for its composition. He is also responsible for our out-dated, predictable, bash ‘n’ barge game plans.

Yes, he has been a fantastic coach and mentor, but every coach has their era - Bennett’s was in the 1990’s. If there were proper accountability and performances processes in place at Red Hill, he would be out of a job. One of the good things about Alan Langer is that he had the selflessness and self-awareness to realise when his time was up at the Broncos. It seems Bennett does not.

if Wayne does go who do we replace him with? boneheads like Gillmiester, Meninga, Walters?
Theres only 2 options imo, keep Bennett or get someone totally new from outside Brisbane and Queensland altogether...

So the Dragons fans stole all your tickets? Does the NRL not allocate each team so many tickets to sell to their fans? That's how it works over here

No basically because its a semi the tickets have been on sale for about 3-4 weeks..

The Saints fans snapped up the majority because they knew which semi they would be playing a week ago.. Once we found out if we'd be in or not, there were only 10000 odd tickets left and they were gone within an hour...

And if he was managing another sport and from another country he would have been sacked before the finals. In fact he probably would have been sacked before this year.

I am one of those Dragons fans who took your ticket Blewy :p

But I agree, the system is poor. Also, Aussie has only 28 000 public tickets, and another 14 000 that belong to members. It's a joke I tell ya

First of all, there is no way I would live in Sydney unless I HAD to, so that wouldn't be a problem.

Secondly, I wouldn't worry that much about it, I can always watch it live with some mates and some XXXX which is not always a bad substitute and can often be better than watching the game live.

Your team should have finished in the top 2, then they would have given their fans more of a guide as to where they would be playing.

Mate, it will be blessing in disguise for you. I'm predicting an absolute blowout scoreline this Saturday night. I really think the Dragons will give it to the Tigers. By 20 points, at least.
