if hes played in the centres yes, we cant put our hopes on him though...
i think we could see Thorn coming off the bench next week and thaiday should get more game time, if this happens we should quite comfortably smash the tigpies of the park...

The Broncos were robbed! They didn't play well enough to win the game, but neither did Melbourne. Steven Clarke had a shocking game. It was one of the worst games I have been to live. Both teams looked like they didn't want to win or didn't have the manpower to win. However, the Broncos were well on top early in the 2nd half, and were robbed by Clarke, not just the ridiculous dive from Orford and the subsequent no-try ruling, but there were many other crap calls, and moments where he should have made calls but didn't.
You sound like Wayne Bennett and quite frankly he sounds like a whinging sore loser because he know's his team has peaked too early and have blown their chance (where is that sour grapes image for Bennett).

Although even as a Melbourne fan there was some dodgy decisions that the team got away with. Also Bott and Minto can laos be blamed for your team's loss (let's face it Minto isn't that good).

Brisbane behind 10 zip at half time though looked the better side making line breaks at ease. Should get home but have to start converting those breaks into points.

GO YOU TIGERS!!!

Difference between the two sides was that the Tigers finished their opportunities whereas Brisbane made 5 or 6 breaks in the first half and didn't convert any of them. A disgraceful last couple of months from the Broncos. They offered nothing. Were premiership favourites for the majority of the season but lost their way yet again.

Broncos go out in straight sets :p

It is over for Brisbane for 2005 and quite frankly this was one of their worst efforts this year - no motivation, poor passing, no effort, no care of the ball, and IMO I can see why Darren Lockyer didn't get a nomination for Dally M 5/8 for the year, this year hasn't been his best compared to other years and to be honest I have sen him play better.

These players need a kick up the backside and a few warnings to be sent that nobody is a certainty and if you don't play well you will be in the Clydesdales - that is motivation enough for some of the non performing big names.

History or not, they have hardly done anything to justify them being allowed back into the NRL and for a club that got so much support during their protest rallies, where are these supporters?

However, the Central Coast needs a team, the NRL won't give them one, and if a Sydney team needs to get moved then Souths for me (I mean let's face it they are starting to play some of their home games there anyway).

Never should have been left out in the first place. They were lucky not to go the way of Norths. I would like to see the new team have the bears as thier mascot.

The other mergers were little more then take overs. St. George 98% Illawarra 2%

Manly 100% Norths 0%

Balmain 80% Wests 20%

It must be said that Smith didn't look confident.. that didn't help his case. You were the better side in the first half but the same can't be said about the second. How do they expect to score tries when they go a maximum of 2 out? Hodges and Tate sould have seen more pill in the second half.

I fail to see how you can be the better side when you don't convert any opportunities on attack? After all finishing is an important part of rugby league. Something Brisbane were uncapable of doing and therefore deserved to lose.

not a chance, Hunt is a much better option at fullback, people are having a go at Lockyer cause of his form, hes not even close to 100%, i honestly hope he pulls out of the tri nations, he needs a rest...

I just want at least one of The Tigers or Cowboys to make the grand final (prefer both). Couldn't imagine a world where either the Dragons or Eels are the premiers.
