I just did a check on nrl.com and there are 42 kiwis playing first grade for clubs other than the warriors (excluding Hunt and Mason). In 5 years or so that will double with 17 of the junior kiwis squad from this year already being signed up by nrl clubs. I am guessing that there are quite a few playing in the junior grades at the moment. We should be quite strong soon.

Who cares anymore. I am sick of even thinking about the Warriors. If it wasn't for geographic purposes then I wouldn't be supporting them. Hopefully Wellington gets it's own team in the next 10 years and we can show Auckland how to run a successful sports team.

Big game today with the Dragons v.s. Broncos. Biggest game of the year so far. Will be interesting to see how the Brisbane replacement winger goes..Tupou I think it is.

Ryles is out for us. That's a big blow. Dragons will have to really be on their game to get up. Broncs should win though

I haven't seen the game yet (we get a delayed broadcast as live over here), but Brisbane have hit a slump at exactly the wrong time. Lost to Manly last week & Manly were unable to beat The Knights this week (even allowing for the fact that Manly are a diff proposition at Brookvale).

To think that Warriors are the only team to beat the Bronco's twice this season is really an amazing thought, especially considering Warriors may finish close last.

No, this is the time you want to hit a slump. The wrong time to hit a form slump is the first 3 weeks of the finals series.

its worrying without doubt, locky will have a few weeks off and Michael Ryan will come into hooker next week, both will help the side and imo we will still make the grand final...

I agree. You deserve to be there and it would be tragic to see the wheels come off after all the hard work you have put in this season. The biggest worry for me about Brisbane is that they seem to be getting tired after a while in the last couple of weeks and don't have enough in the tank to hit back against sides.

Who have they got this week?

penrith away i think, havent checked...
but hopefully tate plays cause he and hodges have been in good form lately but we havent been able to get them both on the field at the same time, with locky and McGuire likely to be out injured i think Barnes will play 5/8 and Michael Ryan hooker, this is what i want to see cause our biggest problem has been the service from dummy half with Barry Berrigan out. Sam Thaiday also needs to play
