Did anybody see Beetson's swipe at Wayne Bennett and the QRL by basically saying that Bennett has too much influence in the QRL - that's why they are thinking about appionting a Blue (Craig Bellamy) as coach of Queensland next year in SoO?

It isn't the first time he has had an outburst - he basically slaged off the Gold Coast as a tourist zone which implies IMO that the Coast consists of only Surfers Paradise, some beaches and four theme (rather boring) parks and that we don't care about rugby league when it is further from the case. Especiallynow we are getting a new stadium.

Yeah, Beetson has lost all my respect. He cares more about the Roosters than he does Qld.

Yeah, I wouldn't be happy with him coaching Qld. But, to have a go at Wayne Bennett is just slimy.

Didn't see any of the games today (The Ashes & all), but what's going on? Knights beat The Dogs, Cronulla beat The Storm & (less of a shock I guess) Eels return to form against The Warriors.

Indeed. Biterly disapointing season. I guess it will be interesting to see if they go to the market now and if Tony Kemp retains his job. He really is a useless coach but i don't see anyone better lining up...
