Based on the fact that they are clearly beatable and they looked tired in the last 20 against Manly and had nothing. They have also lost twice this season to the Warriors which shows that all the other sides that make the 8 can be confident of beating them.broncoman said:based on what and who will get there?
broncoman said:every team is beatable, we didnt go that badly against Manly, we have been the most consistent team all year and still deserve to be premiership favourites
broncoman said:no i dont think it was concerning, tactically we made a mistake by going in with such a small team, when Civoniceva was ruled out Thaiday should have came in, but Barnes played instead. Manly started with Menzies at 5/8 so we knew they wanted to tough it out, but we went for the smaller guys and it backfired. The only concerning thing was out last tackle options, but we will improve there...

They have to get the ball first. Hodges is one of the best defensive players in the comp (now he's not on the wing) Tate also adds some defensive muscle. Hunt has always been weak in defence. But that will be irrelevant if the Brisbane forwards get on top, but you're right Gasnier & Cooper do play like extra forwards - with a lot of pace!Blaze said:Shuting down Gasnier and Cooper will be hard for your backs.
Might drag me out of my sports betting exile to place a bet on the Broncs if that's the case...burkey_1988 said:As a Dragons fan, can't belive they are favourites on Sportsbets ... has the world gone crazy ? Should b a good encounter on Sunday. I reckon the Broncs will come good and give the Dragons a food match
Nope. English all the way. Made his debut for us at 20. Before that played yawnion for Vale Of Lune.BoyBrumby said:Is Edmondson an Aussie? He's been over here for donkey's years if so.
Well be nice to see another Pom have a go in the NRL. Shame for Saints, obv, but he's never really been a regular, has he?steds said:Nope. English all the way. Made his debut for us at 20. Before that played yawnion for Vale Of Lune.
Well, there are several reasons for that. Starting with him joining Saints having never played a game of League in his life. Then there were the first choice props being good players, starting wih Perellini and Matautia, then moving on through Shiels and Fairleigh to Fairleigh and Britt and now two GB players in Fozzard and Anderson. There was also alot of promising forwards rising through the Saints ranks at the same time as him in Stankevitch (who was never fit and eventually turfed out to Widnes for this year), Jonkers (who stopped being promising and disappeared off the face of the earth) and Bennett (who is getting better and better). Finally, you can't be a regular if you're injured all the timeBoyBrumby said:Well be nice to see another Pom have a go in the NRL. Shame for Saints, obv, but he's never really been a regular, has he?
