They definitely lifted today but sadly I think the first half was the best football we will see from them

I did not watch it, they were most likely going to lose, looking at their footy this season.

How long do people think that Manly will last in the 8? I think now that the Roosters are on a roll & The Dragons are one of the best in the comp and Bulldogs and Raiders still a chance it will be very tough for the Sea Eagles. Personally I can't see them making the 8 and if they do, they won't be in the 2nd week of the finals series. Sharks will struggle too.

I think we are going to have to rely on other teams to keep dropping off. But once orgin players return and injured guys return we could start being more consistent. I think teams like Raiders and Sharks have been as inconsistent as us lately, so if both of those teams keep staying fairly inconsistent we could get there. But as you say if we get there we wont last long. Top 8 could be:
1. Brisbane
2. Parramatta
3. Cowboys
4. Dragons
5. Roosters
6. Storm
7. Bulldogs
8. Raiders

I hate to say it but i think Manly and the Sharks will drop out, unless Jason Smith get re-injured. Also the Tigers and Warriors are in the running if Sharks, us and Raiders keep losing games.

TBF The Roosters were at least as badly off as Newcastle, player-wise. Mini, Fitzgibbon, Flannery & Crocker are all out cos of Origin and Cross & Morley are suspended.

Think Wing's injured too.

I think the Dragons will finish ahead of the Cowboys and the Storm are too hot and Cold to be a premiership threat. Warrios will not make it, unless Price comes back early and even then they still have too many problems across the park to be a threat.

Thats true but the Roosters leftovers were alot better then the Knights ones imo.

Yeah i didn't put the Dragons infront of the Cowboys cus of their injuries to their play makers. If they come back early then they probably will be infront the Cowboys. I don't think anyone outside Broncos, Parra, Cowboys, Dragons, Roosters or Bulldogs will be a premiership threat.

Broncos, Dragons and Cowboys will fight out the two grand final spots, eels i think are a touch behind them as far as class players in every position go...

If the Storm play like they did against the Bulldogs then anything could happen. They have the Raiders this week and one they usually do well against, so I'm confident.

What will be funny if the current premiers don't make the top 8.

One of the most amazing series of events I've ever seen on a football field! Barrett puts a kick in, Marsh goes for the chargedown marginally late, Barrett comes up swinging, everyone gets in on the brawl and McKinnon on the kick return runs 80m without anyone putting a hand on him! For mine I think the video ref got it exactly right and Barrett should have gone for at least 10.

Parra did real well tonight, Barrett showed just how much of a merkin he is, hes one of the biggest grubs in the game and i cant wait for the day someone takes him out in a big way, couldnt happen to a more deserving fellow...

Well Im very happy, the Tigers so far signing Ryan O'Hara, Keith Galloway and Jamaal Lolesi... Things are looking great for 06, but hold on 05 aint over and if we win this weekend with the bye next weekend and then Souths we will be sitting very pretty for a top 8 berth....
