Only bowler to be hit for 100 plus runs in a limited over game.
He is the only New Zealander to have both opened an innings and batted at number 11.

He averages infinity in both positions

1 not out the only time he opened and 0 not out the only time he went in last.

In other words, whether you send him as opener or last no one can get him out

lol has anyone else ever opened and batted at 11 in tests?
There are 3 cricketers who have batted all 11 positions in the batting order . So those and few others must have batted 1 and 11 or 2 and 11. :p

Wilfred Rhodes who batted at all position in the batting order.
Held many opening wicket records and was one of the most successful test opening partner of Sir Jack Hobbs.
Also held the last wicket partnership record.

Wilf Rhodes did I think.
Yes. He batted all 11 positions IIRC. Syd Gregory and Vinoo Mankad being the others who have batted all 11 positions in Tests, Abdul Razzaq is the only ODI player to hav batted all 11 positions. :p

OK Since no one seems to want to make any guesses, here's the record as stated officially -

The longest duration after having opened scoring without adding further to the score, in Test cricket history !! Martin Snedden 94 min. (Next is Jeff Crowe 91 min)

This is different from longest duration without scoring first run, which is held by Godfrey Evans at 97 min. (foll by RK Chauhan at 84 min).
