He is the only player in Test history who has while playing for one of the countries he represented been part of the Team beating the other country he represented on both occasions.
ie He was part of West Indian Team that beat NZ and then part of NZ team that scored its maiden Test victory in Test history when it beat West Indies.
Only 2 others have played for 2 countries representing each against the other .
Frank Hearne and Billy Midwinter.
But Hearne beat SA when part of England Team, but could not do the reverse !!(ie beat England as part of SA team)
and Bill Midwinter was part of an Aussie Team that beat England, but the England Team he was part of was unable to beat Australia !!
