He wasn't dominated totally and definitely held held his own.
I would say he held off less his own than most other Top tier pacers. Atleast those 4 got the better of him, as did Pollock ahead 40. The only Great he really troubled was probably Miandad, but his overall Pakistani record wasn't even much good at home.

Three series at home against WI, 55 wickets in 11 tests @27 doesn't indicated ownage. Took Viv's wicket 9 times.

Viv had an ATG series and scored two pretty great tons in another. Lloyd had two pretty Great series. But I digress.
Yeah but two things can be true.

Viv could have an impressive record against Lillee in Aus without Lillee necessarily being owned overall. Lillee did very well against WI in 76 and 81.

Eh, I won't say 81 was very well. It was just well.
