Friendly v M Tel Aviv
In front of a small crowd on a warmish day the webbers put on a first half display and then went into there shells. It was also the fox show who picked up man of the match with a hatrick and was helped with some very good lead up work.
a good game and we caught up with the chairman after the game.
How is the club coming along: Yer really g ood, we arer working on a few big major sponsorship deals which will happen in the next couple of days, and all the guys are working really hard and are really pushing each other to the max to fill these positions, however as we have told them it will be rotation so dont get upset after having a blinder the game before then you find yourself missing out, but good competition is good for the club.
The boys performance so far: Yer we are pretty happy, some big wins and some good wins. alot of people had critised our recruitment this season but it looks ok.i mean in this game we didnt score any in the 2nd half however we played well enough to grab a nice lead in the 1st half however english league one etc will be another story as the teams adapt to how we play and every one is used to the conditions so.
How are the member ship drives going: Really well we have sold 65% of season member tickets and boxes to corporates and the public so we have another couple of weeks i think till the season starts so, hoefully we can fill em up even more.

Webbers fc v Darlington
nearly the end of all the friendlys for the newly created club, however they have approached to epl teams to see if they can really see how good they are, however management is just waiting for a reply. this game had good and bad points, our midfield is really coming together with alot of solid passes and through balls for our men upfront and our backs are working in well with the midfield. We could however win more balls in the air and our passing at times has alot to be desired but we are coming along. some good goals in this game with our shoots on target becoming better and better.

Season Opener.
History created as the newly created webbers utd fc ran out onto huish park infornt of a hostile crowd of 9610. webbers scored early and took some pressure of manager rob malone however it was a tightly fought contest and going into the dressing rooms at half time the webbers only led 1 - 0, thanks to a nice goal early by Marc Robbins. Yeovil played well and where just unlucky not to have had an equaliser but just could not crack the defense.
In the second half it was a tough battle and the media thought the webbers would run away with this game, and fox got one through for a nice gap and a 2- 0 final scoreline. all the hype of the new boys was over and the boys played well, against a very determined yeovil. we gota few words from both managers, firstly the away manager,
steve thompson: very happy with my boys, we where a bit unlucky but take nothing away form the new boys. they played a wide game and a good game which we fought hard against and to loose 2 - 0 aginst those guys, after all there friendlys, its nota bad performance. would have prefered the points but hey its only the first game of the long season. we watched video's fo all there friendlys and they play a good style so we counter acted that but to there credit they changed there sytle and got through us. but a good game anyway. thanks
Rob malone: yer very happy, boys did well, unfortunately we had to leave some guys out but as i have said all along we will rotate and every one will get there chance to shine, but happy to win away from home in our first game so yer very happy. thanks mate
