Friendly v Bulle

webbers really looking to make there final outing a comprehensive one before the season begins however they didnt want to go too hard and end up with a couple of injuries. The boys played really well and alot of people playing for spots and bench spots every one is really playing good football to put pressure on each other.

the boys played well and again moved the ball around well and controlled midfield nicely. although e have had some good wins the quality of opposition has not been too good however not taking too much away from our performances i just dont want to go into the season all high and might then to get let down to earth quickly as the english football in any division is all hard work.

ok guys i have fixed up all the problems, i will give each member the same squad numbers, we just have a few more friendlys so we can just treat them as friendly games we would have played, and we still start with yeovil in the first game.....will sime all these games and put them up and get the season going...

Friendly v Grasshopper

webbers boys had another hit out with spots up for grabs, places rotated and its tough you score a hatrick then you dont even get a look in, but with tough comp for spots that happens, just stay patient with staff guys.

this was another game where webbers dominated and all the stats show that.

webbers utd have really got a good bunch of players, management and support staff and it shows as they continue there newly created football career with some good solid football, also there outside work is great with functions, camps and school visits which really has the media talking good things about the club in its early yet succesful career so far.

another good hit out with some solid midfield and defensive work. the webbers keepers love getting involved and at some stage of the game always tend to get forward to try and get there name on the score sheet. i wonder if there is a bet between keepers as to first keeper on teh score sheet gets a prize.....

Friendly v m.herzliya

webbers in the busy schedule coming up towards the start of the season managed to get in a few more friendlys being a new club and all. the club figured the players needed time to get to now each others games, managem,ent wanted to see what superstars they had and also get nows in the football community.

this game was no exception and webbers come out firing and wanted to prove a point. the opposition didnt want it to be a walk over like some games and really put up a good fight which was good for the webbers as they wanted a tough midfield battle which is what they got....

Looks like me along with the team is/are enjoying a good run of form in the friendlies. Hopefully we can take this momentum forward into the league matches as well. Btw, buggsy, you know when you view the pkm file in Fm 2006, i dont get webbers utd fc, i get swansea for the name of our team.

thats interesting, swansea was the team we replaced, so the only thing i can think of is that bacuse i changed the database , that webbers will turn up in mine however with all you guys it will remain swansea.....im not sure...

i hope so aswell however the quality we have played in the friendlies is not that good, so hopefully when we get back into the league season the teams are better and we dont do it as easy however if we do what can i do to drag us back...

Probably Swansea is the team we replaced therefore that name shows up instead. It's that club's place in the game. When our team was created I guess the game still recognizes us as Swansea in name since you're using your version of FM2006 not Rob's.
