Ditto Blackburn then?
What about the season after that?

EDIT : You guys aren't getting the big picture.Don't look at individual season's league tables, look at the whole decade since the Premiership started, you see only 3 names, and one got relegated later.

Also I do not know if many of you have realized that my initial comment ala two horse races was a sarcastic jibe at Chris Hinton's comment that Glazer should be all wrong for Man Utd.

I am not insulting your intelligence,I'm just clearing things up because this discussion is becoming pointless.

;) well while we discuss this here, Glazer seems to have secured 75 % stake in united.

I was surprised to read this( in BBC) :-

"...In the past two years the share price of the club has steadily risen as Mr Glazer has bought up chunks of stock, forcing him to pay more for each tranche in the club.

The steadily rising stock price culminated in the premium £3 a share he paid for the 28.7% Cubic Expression holding and other shareholdings last week. .."

Also, the Shareholders united has been acting like a radical organization and doing a pretty good job of provoking United fans, infact that is the only thing its doing (IMHO).

Atm i'm not sure whether it'll be a quick in out or long haul by Glazer. The club could be back on the market in 2 years or so

I guess that would be okay with the fans. Abramovic doesn't need to borrow money from anyone to buy out United.

One thing I wanted to know, how are the other English Football fans feeling on this issue ? I mean do they feel the same way as United fans ?

I've been indulging in a little bit of schadenfreude at ManUre's expense too. :D
Same here. Shame he couldn't have ratcheted the prices up last year for our replay, really!

Because, well, they don't have any interest in buying clubs?

Live with it. Or, I dunno, support a team with which you have the vaguest connection?

I already know they don't have any interest. Just wondering if it was one of those two buying the club if the fans would be up in arms.

Why couldn't it have been Bill Gates? Even Paul Allen would have done.
Trust me you dont want Paul Allen to own that team. Incidently he also owns a Basket Ball Team, Portland TrailBlazers aka GangstaBlazers. :D

As for Gates, he would clone all the best players in the world and replace all the existing united players with them. :D

He would send Alex Ferguson out for beta testing.
