I think Matt Giteau was an uncertainty to play and was only a definite starter on the day - that wasa probably the reason behind Sterling Mortlock and then Matt Gerrard taking the kicks with Giteau in doubt during the week.BoyBrumby said:So how come he didn't kick?
Well even a Blues supporter was impressed by the Hurricanes last night, especially during the second half with Nonu's hat-trick and another handful of tries on his wing.Blaze said:Haha alright Somerset I will admit that I made an error of judgement.
I went to the game.. great stuff to watch.
Shocked to see the Highlanders lose by so much.
I think they might beat the Crusaders though (upset)
Not by their performance last night at least...Blaze said:I would love to play the Waratahs in a semi.. they are pretty trash.

Totally missed out on the deadline because of short a trip !! *blames a hot date for his loss of focus*Somerset said:Table after Round Ten:

Lord - 30
Biased Indian - 20
JASON - 18
Blaze - 16

Cloete - 14
Psxpro - 5
Round Ten Points:
Somerset - 4
Broncoman - 3
I think the Cats must hold that streak with their record in the Super 12 - I think the Brumbies are fairly safe at the moment of not having that rather unwanted honour.JASON said:Totally missed out on the deadline because of short a trip !! *blames a hot date for his loss of focus*
Damn the Brumbies !! Their season is over in such a lame losing streak (surely unprecedented for them ), after such a brilliant start that promised at least a Super 12 Semi finalist spot !!
Wonder what the record losing streak is in the Super 12 !! (ie. number of continuous losses - Brumbies currently 5 in a row !! )
Semi finalists, surely must Be Crusaders, Hurricanes, Highlanders , Waratahs or Blues !!
Blues will need to play out of their skin if they want to tip the Tahs out of the Semis.
May be this year !! But we will rise again next year to our Dominant form !! Take it from me ! This year is a blip because of Lions Tour !!BoyBrumby said:Looks like the Brumbies' reign is over.
Yep, Crusaders and Waratahs have effectively secured a semi-final spot even if they lose their remaining two matches. I would back the Waratahs to at least beat the Reds, while I can't see the Crusaders losing to the Highlanders.Blaze said:The Waratahs are pretty much guarenteed a semi spot
Next year when Gregan, Larkham, Rathbone, etc. return from injury, we'll see a much better Brumbies side - although I feel they have played poorly this year, injuries have been a major factor in their loss of form so I wouldn't count them out for a decent 2006.JASON said:May be this year !!
