I finally decided the competition ends after the round games.. so Somersets the winner and another fellow kiwi lord comes in 2nd place.. 3rd plays goes to the know nothing about super 12 guy Simon..

since u dont have a playoff for semis u should have mentioned the fourth place as well

Som with the big first place lead, lord 2nd, simon 3rd and for B.i's sake hes 4th ... thanks heaps for everyone participation.. it was fun.. and ill be sure to bring it back next year.. thanks heaps to Somerset for helpin cover while i was away..

For the Crusaders, lot of outstanding players, but McCaw as usual, Aaron Mauger, Rico Gear (he missed one try close to the line by a tackle, but scored the Crusaders first try!!)were the most outstanding IMHO.

Actually Hamilton scored the first try...Gear ran about 50m to set it up though.

Cheers Lord, enjoyable competition this, just a shame my lead was so large that it was near impossible for anybody to pass it with three-four rounds remaining!

Somerset for the record you would have beaten me by 2 points had i kept posting my picks. We have the same competition at school and I ended up winning it on 48

i actually missed 3 or four rounds it might have made a big difference
