You're performing alright considering your lack of Super 12 knowledge then, at least you're attempting to remain in the leading bunch each week.broncoman said:hey! i am taking it seriously, kinda, i just know bugger all about super 12...

Biased Indian that's certainly pushing the rules to the maximum, but I guess I have to let your predictions stand...biased indian said:Chiefs

That's a good effort considering you've been absent for most of the competition, keep the predictions coming and see if you can gain a few more places!JASON said:Hey I finally get off the bottom, only to find you have deprived me of that pleasure !![]()

This is the Table after Round 8 (bearing also in mind that Jason -the esteemed predictor was absent for 3 rounds due to other commitments !!![]()

Yes but you're effectively cheating, there's not much fun in that - I'm sure you'll agree.biased indian said:if i have my way he wont get ahead of me![]()
Somerset said:Well that was a very intiguing game last night, IMO the Waratahs deserved to win and rightly did (disregarding the fact that I predicted them to win, for anyone wondering). Should've been by more but Rogers kicked terribly and while Giteau kept the Brumbies close for as long as possible, to be completely honest they lacked their usual persistence which they needed to win against the other Australian franchise. Gregan and Gerrard suffered unfortunate injuries, and I tend to agree that they could've made a difference for the Bumbies with players tiring in the final stages.
The top half of the table for anyone wondering:
1. Waratahs, 8 matches, 31 points
2. Crusaders, 7 matches, 25 points
3. Hurricanes, 7 matches, 25 points
4. Highlanders, 7 matches, 23 points
5. Blues, 7 matches, 21 points
6. Brumbies, 8 matches, 20 points
I feel that the Waratahs and Crusaders are definitely safe, while if the Hurricanes beat the Highlanders next week, they'll also be guaranteed a spot. The Blues still have to play the Waratahs and they also have two in South Africa - not an easy task but if they get through that with at least two victories, they should have enough to pass the Highlanders who also have a difficult run towards leading up to the semi-finals.
Okay, they've got the bye before heading to Dunedin, and they then face the Reds and the Blues. I'd back them to beat the Reds even with this embarrassing record they have against them and they should also be too strong for the Highlanders. At this stage, if they win that match they will be definite semi-finalists, maybe I was wrong in making that call so soon but at least I'm making my predictions clear.Blaze said:I disagree. I don't think the Waratahs are safe with the run they have got
Is that a challenge I hear?Somerset said:Okay, they've got the bye before heading to Dunedin, and they then face the Reds and the Blues.
