Hypothetically - if Murali agreed to be tested tomorrow by the new and improved testing regime, and then was found to be clearly chucking, would that make a difference to the legitimacy of his bowling record?
Let us delete all test records that occured before any latest change in Law, eh?

Well he may fail it now due to his age and wear and tear. Means nothing testing a guy years after he retired. May as well test every bowler ever.

He doesn't need to be tested, as this thread indicates those that sought to knock him before are just going to use Ajmals results to argue against his records.

Come on Jono - You can do it. Repeat the 'issues' point a few more times, and we might end up with a sledger-post that has the size of an encyclopedia.
There are limits, I promise you. I'm almost certain I've read this tirade before somewhere.

Haha exactly, and bring back the dead bowlers as well
Hear, hear! Surely after being dead for a few hours the whole straightening kurfuffle becomes a bit of a non-issue. Wot! New ICC law, a player cannot bowl unless said player has been dead for no less than 1 day.

You guys are all neglecting the biggest controversy in this thread. The Larry David gif Monk posted is in reverse and it's freaking me the **** out.

Yeah and give the 2007& 2011 Cricket World Cups to New Zealand while we are at it (Murali took 4 wickets against us in 07 and tied us down with 2 more in 2011). Am pretty confident we would have beaten the Aussies and Indians in the finals:)
