IPL 2015 Thread

This appears to be a very batting-friendly pitch. Only a 200+ will win the match for MI.

Aaron had a very tight strike rate under 14 last season, going with his high economy. This time, a wicket is hard to come by, and his economy has soared further. Let's not forget, he doesn't get as much active cricket as his teammates in Jharkhand or RCB.

Chahal, on the other hand, has a career economy of 6.45, but that was under six before he became a regular bowler for RCB- where his economy rate rose to Varun Aaron levels.

Unmukt Chand is a T20 misfit, as his strike rate suggests. Yet he's playing a breathtaking knock striking over 150. Maybe that gives a hint about where this match is headed.

So this may be a match-winning score on a flat deck. Not so much for MI, who don't have the bowling to sustain on a flat deck. Much will depend on McClenaghan, because Malinga's out of form, Bhajji's had a reversal in form once more and the rest of this bowling attack are up-and-down medium pacers whom Gayle, AB, Roussow and Weise will enjoy facing.

Horror start to their chase for Bangalore.

Love Kohli but this is a game where he needs to go big and no a strikerate of 120 won't do.

Not the Chris Gayle we know and love. Unless he and Kohli are playing out Slinga and Bhajji, and waiting for the free-scoring opportunities later on.

Karthik ahead of AB when you need 14 an over.

The power of fail is strong with Bangalore tonight.
