Bowling seems to have improved. Batting got worse. Pleased to be up at 7, though. :)

Could I get my Test and ODI stats, please?

Wow. Doing a lot better than I thought I was. Consistent rather than spectacular it seems.

1st ODI vs Pakistan

Playing XI: Heads, Dharan, Narang, Ballich, Spark, Clark, Winne, Corrin, Capone, Howe, Dean

CW chose to bat on a slow but flat wicket and though the openers tried to start with confidence, Heads' innings never really clicked. The opener was out in the 10th over with the score on 39, having contributed 10 from 31 balls.

Narang looked to be in a more aggressive mood after his ODI recall for his 25, but CW's innings was built on a quality stand of 139 from Dharan and Ballich. The pair started slowly, with Pakistan's spinners looking to build the pressure, but Dharan eased through the gears to register his second ODI hundred.

Ballich was out in the 46th over, caught behind off Anjum, but Dharan stayed until the end. CW's wickets in hand allowed them to accelerate in the death overs, with Dharan and Spark (21* off 12) lifting CW up to a good total.

Chasing 250 to win, Pakistan's openers got off to a similar start to their CW counterparts. Shoaib Khan managed only 15 from 31 before being bowled by Winne in the 11th, the score on 42. From there, however, the innings diverged as Taufeeq and Yousuf departed in quick succession.

Pakistan struggled to keep up with the rate, and when Clark and Corrin struck in successive overs the innings had stumbled to 127/5 after 30. Inzamam tried to force the game back to the away side with a swift 61, including four fours in a row off Clark's final over, but went for one big hit too many against Corrin and was caught in the deep.

From there Pakistan were unable to force their way back in it as CW took regular wickets. Moin Khan's spirited 64 off 57 gave the away fans hope, but with 16 runs needed from the final over he was the last man out as he cut Winne straight to point.

CW won by 15 runs

2nd ODI vs Pakistan

REMOVED replaced Clark and Noble replaced Howe for the second match. Pakistan won the toss and put the hosts in to bat, knowing a loss would lose them the series.

CW struggled thanks to some excellent bowling by Pakistan. On a deck that did not offer much assistance, Pakistan managed to choke the runs out of CW's top order throughout.

All three of Heads, Dharan and narang scored at less than a 50% strike rate, and when REMOVED was sent in down the order the experiment failed, the opener contributing just 4 from 21 balls.

Winne contributed a run a ball 25, and spark had briefly accelerated at the death, but by then it was too late - the home side had limped to 186/5.

Capone dismissed Taufeeq early, but Pakistan had no problems keeping up with the rate in the early stages as they reached 63/1 after 14 overs. CW turned to their spinners, but there was simply not enough runs on the board to provide any kind of pressure. Despite Yousuf departing for 41 off 80 balls, Shoaib Khan reached his hundred off 112 before being bowled by Winne.

By then, though, the game was up as Younis and Inzamam saw Pakistan home with six overs to spare.

Pakistan won by 7 wickets

Clark.

Speaking of which, I seem to be curiously adept at late-over acceleration. Interesting and unexpected. What's my ODI Avg+SR?

Phlegm and Hing came in for third ODI, for Dean and Noble. CW won the toss and batted.

Immediately this looked like an error as both openers departed early. Narang and Ballich looked to consolidate, but failed to push on with their starts and catch up on the time lost. By the time Spark departed - with a frustrated 11 from 28 - Cw were reeling at 97/5, already with 28 overs gone.

It was left to REMOVED (44 off 42) and Corrin (58* off 60) to rescue the innings, and along with quick-scoring cameos from Winne and Hing, CW were able to reach a respectable total. Capone's boundaries off the last two balls had the home side finish on 237/8.

Capone continued the job with ball in hand as he started with a maiden over to Shoaib. The seamers gave CW a real chance as Phlegm picked up two early wickets, while Winne found the Shoaib's edge as the opener managed 9 from 20 balls. Pakistan stumbled to 34/3 in the first 10.

Yousuf and Inzamam rebuilt with a 50 partnership, but Corrin had Inzamam caught behind in the 21st. That brought Razzaq to the crease and the allrounder was a clear danger, attacking the spinners and getting Pakistan ahead of the rate. however, Winne was brought back and bowled Razzaq for 30 off 25, Pakistan at this point slipping behind again at 133/5 in the 32nd over.

Mutujaba (19 off 22) and Moin Khan attempted to counter, and all the while, Yousuf was still there, accumulating but ready to push on. Yousuf and Moin's stand steadily brough Pakistan back into the game, until a sudden flurry of boundaries seemed to have taken care of the rate. Pakistan needed 16 from the last three overs.

Capone proved to be the man of the hour, and had Yousuf caught behind for 90 off 130. Mohammed Hussain took a single off his first ball, and Capone struck again to trap Moin lbw. Anjum was bowled first ball, and two dots to finish the over meant the game was all but won. Phlegm took the final wicket as CW won the series.

CW won by 14 runs
