Is Chahar even playing IPL? And does he still qualify as one of top 3-4 pacers for India?

At least wait till the ipl is over before knee jerk selections

Parag was crap last season i think
Parag has never been good in the IPL for a whole season. He's just coming off a freakish season with assam and has had a few decent knocks this season. Plus he's a top order bat who bowls a bit and I think some indian fans are a bit obsessed with that after the WC final loss where they only had 5 bowlers.

Whatever it takes!!!
Too early to speculate, maybe, but if we do want to try out youngsters for tests resting Rohit and Virat, I would pay good money to watch this line up in action. Maybe an one off test against Zim or Ireland.

Personal opinion about T20 team is that we should have tried out the 2007 template every alternate WC. It worked very well and even if it failed spectacularly you have another chance a year or two later anyway.

Would anyone give up '2 T20 World Cup titles' in order to obtain '1 ODI World Cup title' ?

Personally I wouldn't. Obviously ODI wc is much more prestigious but a world cup win is still a world cup win. Having said that, I would probably give up 3 T20 titles for 2 ODI wc titles, but I wouldn't give up twice as many.

Comparing to tests is a lot harder. But that Gabba win is up there with any ODI wc win.
