Indian Batting Order for ONE DAY!

SRT has to prove first in small finals first. Otherwise he will have a bad label attached to his name for every. Choking tendulya. hahaha!.

I am not against Tendulkar though, he is under pressure because of 1 billion indians who thinks he is something demi god like maradona.

The problem with SRT and Indian Team is , they do adjust their batting with the situation.

They need to constantly tinker with batting line up. If they need high runrate , They can 't send both Tendulkar and sehwag same time.

They need to keep one side occupied with a defensive batsman who can score in singles and rotate.

One person has to go for strokes. This method should apply until the last wicket.

The greatest one day batsman is Javed Miandad. Not for his famous SIX of chetan sharma but for his ability to score singles in any time and any situation. Clever FOX.

Indian Team does n't have that kind of batsman. Even though yuvaraj turned out to be that guy , it all depends on oppurtunity.

I want Yuvaraj to open ODI along with sehwag.

Here is my new ODI order.

Laxman ( if he scores singles and rotate , then he stays with Indian Team or i will drop him)
Tendulkar
Ganguly
Dravid
Dinesh Karthik/Kaif

Until we find another all rounder (fast or medium bowling).

Laxman may play in place of Kaif , because kaif has failed to make big score with the chances he got.

Yuvaraj is also in the microscope. More failure by him, I will drop him from my ODI XI. hahaha!.

Alex, According to you:
Tendulkar - choker
Yuvraj - Mediocre
Kaif - not good enough
Laxman - can't get singles, cant get 4s and 6s, bats slow (I wonder what he does really !!)
And all bowlers are crap...

So only people in the team u consistently want are:

Sehwag
Dravid
Dinesh Karthik
Irfan Pathan

Now I would like you to come up with remaining 10 players to make up the team of 14 (in case u r wondering why 14, thats the normal team size, backups u know ??)
Please don't select the players mentioned above, as they are definitely crap.. and also we need some new bowlers according to you, who don't give 300 runs.. So I think, Zaheer, Nehra, Kumble (stuck with mediocre spinners like him and Harbhajan), Harbhajan, Balaji (really bad action), Agarkar are out aren't they ??

3. Tendulkar (even though he is a choker , he still produces RUNS except in FINALS)
4. Ganguly (best captain , India ever produced. This dude is honest.)
5. Dinesh Kathik ( 19 year old Promising Wicket Keeper / Attcking Batsman in the mould of Gilchrist.)
6. VVS laxman (He still can bat , he needs to improve his strike rate to keep his spot in Indian ODI
7. Kumble ( He still taking wickets).
8. Yuvraj ( Promising , yet to prove his consistancy in ODI with 100s.)
9. Kaif ( I started to get a feeling he may fail even if he gets chances in the middle. His current position is his best shot to keep his spot. He can't complain he never had a chance to bat many overs in ODI , He came to bat early in 4 games and has n't produced big score. He may be under pressure.)
10. Singh
11. Zaheer/Balaji/Nehra - third tier bowler , lacks consistancy.
12. Gambir
13. Bahutale
14. Need an all rounder . Not bangar , powar **** crap. They sucks. I don't think this dudes can bat consistantly. They bowl awful as well against good teams.


We need 3 or 4 FRESH new blood.

If you have suggestion of few players , let me know. I will analyze their ability even up to their personal chracteristics. Don't ask how.

My opinons may not match with most of you. Simply because , you wants to keep indian team in mediocrity. 2nd Tier Team.

To challenge australia , india needs to tinker with few spots in bowling and batting.

1. Opening Slot against Sehwag is still open.

Suitable players -- Yuvraj/Gambir.

2. 7 spot All rounder needed.

Suggestion please . No bangar , powar , agarkar **** craps.

3. Fast bowler who can tighten grip other side with PATHAN.

(disappointed with Balaji , Nehra and Zaheer - Inconsistant).


If India can find Best FIT for the above slots , India will become juggernaut.


Keep analyzing until we find best possible line up to challenge australia.

India drew with Australia in Tests 2-2!! I call that challenging... And while you go on that India cant compete with Australia... name another nation that can truthfully say they can, on a regular basis.

if you really want an indian all-rounder at the mo, id be looking at bahutule (spelling?), he seems a genuine ar to me.

...India are extremely competitive. or even with something similar. i do however believe patel should be keeping... dravids is shocking IMO.
